Project concept
Giving up the original features, color and texture of the pottery, I united the Eastern "hiding" and the Western "unconcealing" to make a comparison of the "real" and "imaginary" and reborn the pure appearance of ceramics. The introverted Orient porcelains are coated in the exaggerated and complexity Western outlines. Unglazed ceramic and the shiny stainless steel came out to create a strong contrast. Standing between East and West: between “hiding” and “unconcealing”, between “real” and “imaginary”.
