How can lessons from the Taiwanese tea ceremony be applied to service design?
This dissertation illustrates my investigations into both the Taiwanese tea ceremony and service design and make connections between the philosophies of the two. As an apprentice of both, I am curious about the connection between the Taiwanese tea ceremony, which has evolved over a long history, and service design, as a new discipline in design. Both of these focus on forming a unique relationship, mapping a fluent journey and creating a holistic experience by combining diverse components. I am curious about how the two can reflect on and learn from each other... If you would like to know more, get in touch!
